I landed in London after taking a degree in philosophy. What with there not being much call for philosophers at that time, I got a job selling ad space on a business-to-business title with a (then) small publisher called Centaur Media.
My intention was to sell space for six months until something better came along. During a decade at Centaur I was a senior account manager, ran sales teams of various sizes, and for four years was the Director of Learning & Development.
Increasingly interested in the role stories played in communication, I took several classes to improve my knowledge in this area, including an MA in Screenwriting. As an independent training consultant and coach, for the last fifteen years I’ve helped companies craft and deliver winning pitches and presentations.
My sessions range from helping an individual to conquer limiting beliefs (I’m a certificated coach and member of the Association for Coaching) to working with senior executives to develop a Value Proposition or Credentials Pitch.
The emphasis is on developing content that is appropriate, working in a supportive and creative environment, and making sessions as fun and challenging as possible.
