Need to deliver scintillating new business pitches or stellar value propositions?

Then your frontline sales staff need to be expert storytellers.

Of course, there’s no shortage of storytelling trainers and coaches to choose from. What’s important is that you get the right fit for your business need.

My approach to storytelling is honed through years of working with agencies and media owners to craft business-winning pitches and value propositions. I’m also a published crime novelist and hold a Screenwriting MA.

What I don’t do is simply advise my clients to ‘find the emotion’ or ‘take the audience on a journey’. I’m not saying these things aren’t important (they are) but more significant is crafting a pitch that grabs attention and stands out from the competition. For me storytelling is about communicating value through emotion and logic. For this reason the emphasis is always on structure, relationship building, and delivery skills.
